snake alley

After all day visiting places, praying, walking around and dinning in an traditional restaurant...it came the fun part of the day, the place that all have been waiting for...THE SNAKE ALLEY!!!

We walked there and looked for a place to seat and eat the snake. We saw some places that you can eat snake, rat and turtle.

So, we entered in a place where have big snakes in the front and a lady calling everyone to enter inside to eat.

The girls were scared by the animals alive in the front of the restaurant and then even more with the menu.

Then we ordered the snake soup and it came with a lot of drinks. We ordered fried snake as well but this one it didnt look like snake and the sauce taste was very strong.

But the main atraction was the snake soup with the drinks. In the bow had 4 pieces of snake. And had 6 glasses: blood, penis, poison, some chinese medicine, ginseng and snake bile. The waiter was explain everything and you could see on the faces that they thought everything really disgusting.

After that the first to eat was John, he just put the hole thing in the mouth and he said it was good but had a lot of tiny bones. I was the second one to eat it, and i just bite one side of the snake and had to take out the tiny bones too. No one else ate that snake. Almost everyone ate the other snake because it didnt look and taste like snake.

About the drinks, we started with the blood. John started to drink, just a little bit and said that it was good. So, i drank it too and then Ben, Kevin, Eric and Willy drank it too. The others drinks started with Ben and then passed to the boys and then i drank it. The rest of the drinks John drank one after one. I tasted the soup as well and it was good, Willy tasted too but John drank it all.

After all this adventure, i took some pictures of the snakes of the front, but i believe is not the same kind of snake that we ate! And with that i end this report of this fun, cool and strange day at the snake alley!
